Houston Jones is a California band whose style ranges from bluegrass and folk to blues and gospel. With a world-class combination of vocal and instrumental prowess, Houston Jones features Glenn Houston (lead guitar), Peter Tucker (drums and percussion), Travis Jones (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Chris Kee (standup bass and guitar), and Henry Salvia (keyboards and accordian) with featured guest Chojo Jacques (fiddle and mandolin).
This recording was produced by Cookie Marenco at OTR Studios using 2" analog tape and was mixed to 1/2" tape. The critically acclaimed recording has been available for more than one year, but Marenco feels the music and sound quality is so wonderful it warrants releasing under Blue Coast World as a 96K audiophile release. Those of you who like the Americana stylings of Alison Krause and Robert Plant will enjoy this recording!
